What was once the City of Miami Fire Station No. 14 is now the Miami Green Lab, a community educational resource center. The Miami Green Lab is concentrated on sustainable living, green/eco-friendly design and development. This facility was built in collaboration with the City of Miami and now houses the Office of Sustainable Initiatives. The building itself has many eco-friendly, sustainable features such as a rainwater collection system, solar hot water heater, and energy-efficient lighting.
