In 2011, West Kendall Baptist Hospital was the first non-replacement hospital to open in Miami-Dade County in the last 35 years. As the demand for medicalcare increases, the hospital has planned a multi-phase expansion. Phase I consists of a 4-story addition of approximately 120,000 SF, as well as renovation of the existing 5,000 SF Emergency Department, and expansion of the CEP.
