This four-story, 288,000 SF, 134-bed acute care hospital that includes surgical, obstetrics, and intensive care beds. Also, this new campus includes a one level 20,856 SF Central Energy Plant; a free-standing four level 64,000 SF Medical Arts Building with a 6,820 SF covered connector to the hospital building; and a 4,134 SF Early Learning Center. The structure consists of reinforced concrete with exterior precast walls, which reflects the Mediterranean style similar to the other facilities at Baptist Health campuses. The hospital is designed to withstand Category 5 hurricanes.
