Temple Israel of Greater Miami

Design and construction of the Chapel was a free-flowing, sculptured, sprayed concrete that presented many challenges. With the design of irregular curves and facets there were no architectural plans, just detailed sketches. The project was constructed prior to computers and 3D programs. We needed to provide a tangible vision so we built a scale, thin-wire model as a guide of the steel cage that was to fit within the concrete shell.
