Emerald Coast Middle School is a 129,066-SF new education space that accommodates 850 students in grades 6-8. The one-story classroom building has 21 classrooms, skill labs, a science lab, media center, vocational education, and technology education suite among its amenities. The 23,069-SF gymnasium has a basketball/volleyball court, wrestling and weight rooms, shower and locker rooms, lobby and concession area. The building is a steel structure with an exterior brick veneer. The kitchen is designed to serve both the middle school and a future elementary school on the same site.
