Baggage Handling System Improvements

This development at Palm Beach International Airport involved a complete replacement of the Baggage Handling System. The project featured a 20,000 SF expansion to house advanced explosive detection equipment. The new system includes 8,130 linear feet of conveyors, six baggage claim carousels, five baggage make-up units, and three advanced explosive detection machines. This development was carried out in 13 carefully coordinated phases to maintain full airport operations, successfully upgrading a critical system without disrupting service.
