Nassau Port Development

This development transformed Nassau’s waterfront into a vibrant, seaside destination featuring a blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. Key components include a 2-story, 20,000 SF restaurant marina and a 2-story, 30,000

SF arrivals building, both equipped with observation decks offering panoramic views. An esplanade spanning 45,000 SF features a collection of fifteen one-story structures that accommodate a variety of retail spaces, including kiosks, trellised carts, and more formal outlets. It houses attractions such as the Junkanoo Museum, the Impact Theatre, and an amphitheater with seating capacity for 3,000 spectators. The façades are designed to mimic multi-story buildings, adding visual depth and character.

The anchor restaurant’s 2-story design incorporates elements like a covered vehicular drop-off, extended trellises, and floor-to-ceiling glazing that connect the interior dining spaces to the surrounding environment. Courtyard nodes are carefully positioned to facilitate outdoor dining and gathering spaces while pedestrian pathways are shaded by extended trellises. Additional features include small restroom buildings throughout the development.
