Oriole Park at Camden Yards

HOK Sport+Venue+Event, Barton Malow Company/Sverdrup
Baltimore, Maryland

Opening on April 6, 1992, it is the first modern, traditional, urban ballpark. Home of the Baltimore Orioles, the 48,000 seat ballpark is built on the site of the B&O Railroad's Camden Yards. The facility includes the completely restored 19th century brick and heavy timber, seven story, one thousand foot long Camden Warehouse. The Main Concourse Level of the Stadium is framed with cast-in-place concrete using the wide module pan slab system. The balance of the Stadium is framed with structural steel designed and detailed to emulate the late 19th and early 20th century ballparks.
