University of Central Florida Convocation CenterHOK Sport + Venue + Event, Centex Construction Company The 10,000-seat Convocation Center is home to UCF's Golden Knights Basketball team. The arena will also host commencement ceremonies, concerts and a variety of other entertainment programs. The Convocation Center includes 18 luxury suites, 500 club seats,
and 64 loge box seats. Design features of the convocation center
include a cafeteria, a kitchen that can provide catering services
for events, concession stands, retail spaces, and a state-of-the-art
sound system to appeal to entertainment acts. |
The convocation center doubles the seating capacity of the existing Arena, which is renovated to become a 2,500-seat arena for volleyball matches and other events. |
