The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort Parking Garage and SpaNichols Brosch Sandoval, B.C. Project Management The garage, at the entrance to the legendary five-star resort and club, had to complement the stunning Mediterranean-style architecture. The facility includes 930-car, 5-story parking garage, a 25,000 sf spa, retail, hotel, and other facilities. The owner desired a structure that did not resemble a typical garage but rather harmonized with the high-end architectural style of the resort. The choices of shapes, reveals, recesses, texture and permanent coloring of the precast gave the architect the opportunity to design a beautiful yet practical façade. |
