Thomasville Courthouse
(In Design)

Elliott Marshall Innes, PA
Thomasville, Georgia

The Project consists of a two-story building with approximately 37,000 gross square feet of office
type space to house a new Thomasville Courthouse. In order to provide light into the courtrooms the second story roof will have a clear-story to provide ambient light. At the present time we anticipate that the structure will consist of a structural steel frame using composite steel beams. Masonry elevator and stair walls will be used to resist the lateral wind loads.

The current construction budget for the building is approximately $8,000,000.00 or about $210.00 per square foot. OJP Architects is the Prime Architect for the project while EMI is the design Architect. Our fee is based on the above noted building size and construction cost and documents received July 3, 2007 from EMI.

Our Basic Services includes the design of the Primary Structural Frame and the structural aspects of the Exterior Enclosure, and includes related Construction Drawings and Specifications, attending periodic design and coordination meetings during the preparation of the documents, and Construction Administration excluding Site Visits and meetings during construction.
