William Caycedo , P.E.

William has three decades of experience in the field of structural engineering, a significant portion of that with Bliss & Nyitray, Inc.   He has played major roles in a wide number of project types, using a variety of structural systems, including structural steel, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, light gage steel and reinforced masonry.  His duties have included project management, engineering design, project coordination, review of shop drawings, specifications preparation and field inspections. His understanding of the construction industry and experience has resulted in design solutions, which emphasize constructability, efficiency and economy.

Before joining Bliss & Nyitray, Inc., Mr. Caycedo worked as a Project Engineer for a major precaster in Miami and for a New York City design consulting engineer in projects that included a major high-rise office building in New York City; a waterfront structure in Atlantic City and railroad facilities for the North East Corridor, Boston to Washington, D.C.
William is a Florida Certified Special Inspector.
